In the face of adversity, Mandy Fisch, a registered audiologist and a HearingLife business partner clinic owner, has shown extraordinary resilience. After severe flooding caused significant damage to her Bellevue Avenue clinic in West Vancouver, Mandy has quickly adapted by relocating her services to the West Vancouver Community Centre.
Despite the move limiting daily appointments to half the usual number, Mandy remains committed to delivering personalized hearing care to her clients.
Her story is a reminder of why we do what we do—to ensure that people in every community have access to personalized hearing healthcare. To support Mandy, we’ve rallied to provide vital resources, including loaning equipment from nearby HearingLife clinics and offering temporary space at our Lonsdale location. Starting at the end of November, Mandy and her team will begin operating from Lonsdale, while a colleague will continue assisting patients at the community centre one day a week.
