With over 15 years of experience in hearing healthcare, Katie combines her extensive knowledge and passion for audiology to help clients experience the joy of better hearing.
Her journey in audiology began in 2006 where she earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) Degree, with Distinction, from the University of Western Ontario , followed by her Master's degree in Audiology in 2008. Her academic excellence is reflected in several prestigious awards, including the Jean Kienapple Memorial Award upon entering first year of the Graduate Program in Audiology and the Dean’s Honour Roll at the University of Western Ontario
Since joining HearingLife, she has served in various roles, from Client Service Administrator, Audiologist, to Regional Manager, overseeing multiple clinics and supporting her colleagues in delivering top-notch care. Currently, as Senior Manager of Audiology, she provides clinical support to 350 clinics.
In addition to her clinical work, Katie has worked as a Part-Time Professor in the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at Conestoga College, where she shares her experience with aspiring hearing professionals. She has also spoken extensively on hearing loss to various media outlets.

- 2008 Graduating Scholarship Award from the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Singing in America; awarded to a graduating Audiology student with the highest clinical average
- 2007 Continuing Scholarship Award from the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Singing in America; awarded to an Audiology Master’s student continuing in the program with the highest average
- Multiple scholarships recognizing her outstanding academic performance during her studies

She lives in Midwestern Ontario with her husband and two sons and is passionate about community involvement. Katie believes that everyone deserves to engage fully with the world around them.
